How It Works

What happens before, during and after your session.

Bring a presentation, client conversation, or another situation where you want to communicate more clearly. Your recordings give Ben a starting point for the session.

Step 01

Record two short videos

One reading aloud, one speaking freely about your work. Use your phone in a quiet place and speak naturally. You receive the instructions after booking.

10 to 15 minutes
Step 02

60-minute live session

Ben reviews your recordings in advance. Together, you explore the findings, hear examples in your own speech, and practice selected corrections so you understand what to work on and why.

Step 03

Personalized roadmap

Use the findings to focus your practice over the next 3 to 6 months. You keep your personalized roadmap and session recording, whether or not you continue with coaching.

3 to 6 month plan
See what you discover

A detailed analysis, explained clearly.

Ben uses your recordings to identify patterns you may not hear yourself. Together, you look at what is happening, try selected corrections, and decide where to focus.

  • Understand your speaking patterns with examples from your own voice.
  • See what deserves attention and what you already do well.
  • Leave with a direction for your practice and further improvement.

Ben explains what the Pattern Analysis means for your speaking and helps you decide what to work on first. Your roadmap uses these priorities to guide further practice; the pace will depend on your starting point, goals, and practice.

Pattern Analysis. Priority: vowel clarity, word stress, and speech rhythm. To refine: connecting words. Also noted: word endings. Strengths: vocabulary range and grammatical accuracy. Next steps: work through selected corrections with Ben and agree on priorities for practice.
Simplified preview based on an anonymized client analysis. Selected findings shown; your analysis and priorities will be personal to you.
A correction you can hear

Hear how a small change can make words easier to distinguish.

When two different words sound alike, your listener may need extra context to understand which one you mean.

In this clip, Victor reads the same words before coaching and about five minutes later. Listen for the difference between the words in each reading.

Your own priorities may be different. In your High-Impact Action Session, Ben uses your recordings to identify relevant patterns, explain them, and guide you through selected corrections.

Play with sound to hear the contrast. This clip shows an initial coached change; making it consistent in everyday conversation takes further practice.
Hear It For Yourself

Individual experiences from diagnostic sessions and longer-term coaching.

Within the first meeting, I had already learned more than in my 20+ years learning English. And that feeling never stopped.

Fit Check

For professionals who want to communicate more clearly in English.

Intermediate speakers are usually a good fit, as long as you can understand and generally operate in English. You do not need to be fully fluent to benefit from focused work on your spoken communication.

Our main focus is pronunciation, clarity, rhythm, and delivery. We also help with grammar and vocabulary as needed in your speaking and professional context.

You'll likely recognize yourself if…

  • You use English at work or are preparing to use it more often
  • You want your spoken English to better reflect your expertise
  • You would like more ease or confidence when speaking English
  • You sometimes need to repeat yourself or explain what you mean
  • You communicate successfully and want to refine your delivery
  • You want specific feedback and clear priorities for practice

This is not for you if…

  • You're a beginner English learner
  • You're looking only for a general introductory English course

The HIAS is a live, one-to-one session. You can use what you learn alongside courses, conversation practice, or other ways of improving your English.

Common Questions

Questions before you book.

Is this right for me?

I already speak English well. Is this for me?

Yes. The session is designed for professionals who want to refine their spoken English for work. Intermediate speakers are usually a good fit too, as long as you can understand and generally operate in English. You do not need to have reached the level you want yet.

I’ve already taken English lessons. What is different here?

The starting point is your own speech and professional context. Ben analyzes your recordings, explains recurring patterns in pronunciation and delivery, and works with you on selected corrections. You leave knowing which patterns deserve your attention and how to begin working on them.

Can you also help with grammar and vocabulary?

Yes. We help with grammar and vocabulary as needed in your speaking and professional context. Our main focus is pronunciation, clarity, rhythm, and delivery, but you can bring questions about grammar or how to express something more precisely.

Will I have to lose my accent or sound like a native speaker?

The focus is clearer, more effective communication in the situations that matter to you. Having an accent is not inherently a problem. You and Ben look at specific patterns that affect how easily people understand you, with your own goals guiding the work.

The session and what you receive

What does the US$297 include?

The fee includes Ben’s review of your two recordings before you meet, a 60-minute one-to-one video session, personalized analysis, and practice with selected corrections. You also receive a prioritized 3 to 6 month roadmap and the session recording to revisit afterward.

Will Ben actually coach me during the session?

Yes. You look at the findings together, hear examples in your own speech, and practice selected corrections with Ben’s guidance. He explains the analysis in plain English; you do not need to understand phonetic symbols or technical terminology beforehand.

Can I improve in just one session?

You can discover patterns you had not noticed and practice changes that may make an immediate, audible difference. The session focuses on selected priorities. Making those changes reliable in everyday speech takes further practice. Progress depends on your starting point and practice; the roadmap sets priorities rather than a fixed deadline for results.

What do I need to prepare?

Two short videos: one reading aloud from a provided text, and one speaking freely for 1 to 2 minutes about yourself and your work. Use your phone in a quiet place and speak naturally. Allow about 10 to 15 minutes in total. You receive the instructions after booking.

Booking and what comes next

Is this a sales call? What if I don’t continue with coaching?

This is a paid working session with analysis, live coaching, and practical priorities you can use independently. You keep your roadmap and session recording whether or not you continue. Further coaching can be discussed if relevant, but there is no obligation to buy a program.

What if I want to continue with coaching?

Ben can recommend further coaching based on your findings and goals. It is optional and priced separately according to the recommended scope. If you enroll within 30 days of your session, the full US$297 is automatically credited toward your coaching program. There are no additional conditions for receiving the credit.

Can my company pay and receive an invoice?

Yes. Your company can pay for the High-Impact Action Session and receive an invoice.

How do I book and choose a time?

You can book directly without a discovery call. Pay first, follow the emailed instructions to upload your two short recordings, then choose your session time using the scheduling link in your email.

If the available times do not work for you, contact our team so we can help arrange a time. We are based in North American Eastern Time (ET).

The checkout calls this the Executive Communication Diagnostic. It is the same High-Impact Action Session.

Is the session online?

Yes. You meet Ben one-to-one over a video call. He can share the analysis on screen and work with you on your speech during the session.

Can I reschedule or get a refund?

You can reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice. High-Impact Action Sessions are non-refundable once booked. A missed session without notice may be forfeited. See the full refund and rescheduling policy.
